Brave Sunderland Fan dies after Long Battle with Cancer


The 6-year old Sunderland FC of England fan Bradley Lowery who had been battling with a rare type of cancer – Neuroblastoma (nerve tissue) has passed on. His family confirmed the news today. In a post put up on the Facebook page set up for him “Bradley Lowery’s fight against Neuroblastoma“, they wrote:

My brave boy has went with the angels today 07/07/17 at 13:35, in mammy and daddies arms surrounded by his family. He was our little superhero and put the biggest fight up but he was needed else where. There are no words to describe how heart broken we are.
Bradley had touched football fans all over the world after repeatedly appearing as a mascot for Sunderland during the 2016/2017 season, always with a cheerful disposition and forging a close bond with Sunderland striker and his personal hero, Jermain Defoe.
