Bonnie Tyler to perform Total Eclipse during actual total eclipse

Once upon a time there was light in her life, but for two minutes and 40 seconds on Monday there will only be love in the dark.
The stars are aligned for Bonnie Tyler and the total eclipse

Bonnie Tyler will be performing her 1983 hit Total Eclipse Of The Heart on board a cruise ship as the Moon completely blocks out the Sun for the Great American Eclipse.

For precisely two minutes and 40 seconds, passengers of the Royal Caribbean's Total Eclipse Cruise will be blessed with this perfect alignment of stars.
"The eclipse of the sun lasts 2 minutes and 40 seconds, I'm told," Tyler told Time magazine. "Unlike my song. It had to be chopped about, because it was so long."
The singer added: "It's going to be so exciting. It doesn't happen very often, does it?"
And if a natural phenomenon, Bonnie Tyler and a luxury cruise weren't enough, Joe Jonas will also be there - with his new band DNCE, rather than The Jonas Brothers.
Joe Jonas of DNCE will also perform aboard the cruise
The ship, named Oasis Of The Seas, will depart Orlando, Florida, on 20 August - the day before the great spectacle - and head to the Caribbean islands.
"Bonnie Tyler was a natural choice for this once-in-a-lifetime moment," Royal Caribbean's chief executive said.
This will be the first total solar eclipse to completely cross the continental United States since 1918.
In the UK, a partial eclipse will also be visible for around an hour from 7.35pm - but sadly for us, we don't get Bonnie Tyler.
The 66-year-old legend will leave the ship after the show to continue a tour of her new album, Rocks And Honey.
